Principal's Message

We have well experienced and highly motivated faculty, staff and skill development trainers to make sure that our students enhance their thinking skills, analytical frameworks, interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical skills which will mould them into well rounded technocrats. The college is responsible and competent for the development of technical education and has tried to retain its glory by implementing schemes to achieve academic excellence and improving administrative performance. Our Courses

Civil Engineering

Department of Civil engineering was established in the year 2014-15 with an annual intake of 60 students. Department have smart class rooms and fully fledged lab facilities with modern equipment.

Computer Engineering

The Department of Computer Engineering was established in the year 1999 along with the institution. One of the strengths of the department is its strong entrepreneurial culture and placement record.

Computer Hardware Engineering

The Department of Computer Hardware Engineering, one of the oldest Departments established in 1999 at GPTC Chelakkara. The Dept. is working towards the aim of moulding the future generation so that they can fullfill the upcoming needs of technology and provide better service to society

Electronics Engineering

The Electronics Department in our institution serves as a source of knowledge and expertise in Electronics Engineering. .We provide quality for producing innovative and ethically driven technicians dealing with a globally competitive environment ..

Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Government polytechnic College,Chelakkara was established in the academic year 2014, offering three-year diploma course in Mechanical Engineering.

Grievance means a complaint about any kind of discontent, dissatisfaction or negative perception by a student, parent or staff member. A Grievance Redressal Cell committee among faculty is constituted to take care of these grievances.
